Information for first-year year students of full-time and part-time studies
Dear Students,
soon you will be granted access to training again called Health and Safety in Education – BHK from January 27 to February 23, 2025.
The training is performed by students who haven't done it yet.
It is mandatory to undergo the training and pass the test.
After this date, the training will be blockedand restarting it will not be possible.
As part of the training, we will provide you with materials in the field of Health and Safety in Education,
and when you get acquainted with them, you will be asked to complete a single-choice test.
You have 3 attempts to pass the training.
Important: the course begins upon logging in.
Please choose only one course in the language of your studies! It is not possible to re-select or change the language afterwards.

The Main Library kindly informs that first year students are required to complete obligatory library training "Online Library Training" on the Moodle platform during the first semester of their studies.

Library training

The Main Library kindly informs you that training "Online Library Training" on the Moodle platform will be launched on 14 October 2024.
Training conducted on the MS Teams platform will take place on October 29, 2024 and January 20, 2025.
Both forms of training end with a final test posted on the Mooddle platform.

Information on mandatory health and safety training for first-year students
OSH training is a mandatory training for first-year students of both full-time and part-time studies.
Access to the training will be available on the Moodle platform (e-uczelnia) from 1th to 31st October 2024.
The link and password to the training will be sent to your e-mail addresses in the university domain (@student.uek.krakow.pl).
To pass the training, you need to pass the test after reading the training materials on the Moodle platform.
You have 3 attempts to pass the test.
If you pass the test successfully, the grade will appear automatically in USOSweb after data migration.Failure to pass the OSH training results in the inability to continue your studies in the second semester.

Instructions on how to proceed when collecting documents
- In accordance with the rules of the Krakow University of Economics, all correspondence is carried out using individual university account addresses, which have been assigned and activated after the confirmation of your admission to studies. Detailed information can be found at the link.
- Before your visit to the Krakow University of Economics, you need to log in to your to your USOSweb account, and then:
- read and accept the documents posted in the system: Oath, Statement;
- make payment for the student ID card.
- Only students who have completed the formalities (points 1 and 2) shall appear to collect their ID cards.
- For KUE students who have active Student ID Cards (point 3), there is a possibility to use the mobile version of the Electronic Student ID Card ( mLegitimacja). Instructions for using of mLegitymacja can be found on the website at the link.
- Students who are interested in using the Student ID Card as a carrier of an electronic season ticket for Krakow Public Transport (KKM) are required to accept the statement, which is posted in the USOSweb system. You will be informed by a separate e-mail about the date from which it will be possible to activate the KKM app.

University Sports Association at the CUE (AZS UEK) – Registration for Physical Education
Dear First Year students,
We would like to invite you to training sessions of the UEK Academic Sports Association section. Training sessions are intended for people with predispositions to train mentioned sports discipline. We encourage both professionals and amateurs who wants to test their skills.
The Academic Sports Association (AZS) is the largest students sports association from all over Poland. Section training sessions, competitions full of sports emotions and the opportunity to take part in inter-university games such as the Małopolska Academic Championships or the Polish Academic Championships are just some of the opportunities offered by membership in the UEK AZS.
Our University Club offers sports classes in sections such as:
BADMINTON, ROWING ERGOMETER, FUTSAL, BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, HANDBALL, VOLLEYBALL, SWIMMING, TABLE TENNIS, TENNIS, POWERLIFTING, FLOORBALL
It is possible to sign up for training sessions of the AZS UEK sports sections as part of the Physical Education subject in the winter semester 2024/2025 from 27.09.2024 from 9:00 to 30.09.2025 until 23:59.
Training sessions of the UEK Academic Sports Association provide a PE credit.

Ist year, full-time bachelor and long-cycle programs.
Center for Physical Education and Sport (SWFiS)would like to notify you that in the winter semester 2024/2025, registration for physical education classes is going to be via the USOS system.
Each student should individually register via the USOSweb platform for the most preferred sports activities of his/her choice (one activity only!)
The offer of activities (sports hall, swimming pool, gym, outdoor activities) will be available at the https://swfis.uek.krakow.pl website, starting from 25 September 2024.
Before beginning the registration process, each student should check whether he/she has "PE" tokens, authorizing him/her to register for the activities. Information about the tokens can be found in the "Dla Studentów" ("For Students") menu >"Rejestracje żetonowe" ("Token registrations") > "Moje żetony" ("My tokens") tab. Instructions for token registrations are available here.
There are limits of places available in each group.
Before enrolling in PE classes, please check carefully whether the dates of the selected sports activities do not conflict with the Student's overall schedule and timetable.
Please carefully choose only one form (one type) of sports activities !!!

By enrolling in the particular group in the USOS system, each Student also choses a leading teacher who will enter the final grade for PE course. This kind of training is aimed at people with particular disposition to practice a given sports discipline. We welcome both professionals and amateurs who would like to test their skills.
It is possible to enroll in the training practice of the AZS UEK sports sections as part of your Physical Education course in the winter semester 2022/2023. Enrolments are open from 27 September 2023, starting from 08:00, until 1 October 2023 by 23:59.
Participation in sports sections will earn physical education course credit for first year students.

Library training
for first-year students of full-time and part-time studies.
Due to the work on the currently implemented library catalogue, which is the basis for library training, we kindly inform you that training on the Moodle platform will be launched on 19 December 2022 at the latest.
Training conducted on the MS Teams platform will start in January 2023.
Both forms of training end with a final test posted on the Moodle platform.

COLLECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP DECISIONS 2022/23
On 23.11. the CUE's Scholarship Committee made their decisions on the social scholarship, the scholarships for students with disabilities and the hardship benefit.
Scholarship decisions are already available in your USOSweb system.
The Committee sent a notification about the possibility of electronic collection of decisions in the USOSweb to your e-mail address provided in the application.
Collection of the decision by 27 November will ensure the transfer of the scholarship this month.

Information on mandatory health and safety training for first-year students
OSH training is a mandatory training for first-year students of both full-time and part-time studies.
Access to the training will be available on the Moodle platform (e-uczelnia) from 17th October 2022, until the end of the winter session.
The link and password to the training will be sent to your e-mail addresses in the university domain (@student.uek.krakow.pl).
To pass the training, you need to pass the test after reading the training materials on the Moodle platform.
You have 3 attempts to pass the test.
If you pass the test successfully, the grade will appear automatically in USOSweb after data migration.
Failure to pass the OSH training results in the inability to continue your studies in the second semester.

University Sports Association at the CUE (AZS UEK) – Registration for Physical Education
Dear First Year Students,
We would like to invite you to join training practicein the sections of the University Sports Association at the CUE (AZS UEK). This kind of training is aimed at people with particulardisposition to practise a given sports discipline. We welcome both professionals and amateurs who would like to test their skills.
It is possible to enrol in the training practice of the AZS UEK sports sections as part of your Physical Education course in the winter semester 2022/2023. Enrolments are open from 28 September 2022, starting from 08:00, until 02 October 2022 by 23:59.
Participation in sports sections will earn physical education course credit for first year students.
Training practicewith the University Sports Association at the CUEensures PE course credit.

Center for Physical Education and Sport (SWFiS) –registration for activities (PE classes)
Dear Students,
Center for Physical Education and Sport (SWFiS)would like to notify you that in the winter semester 2022/2023, registration for physical education classes is going tobevia the USOS system.
Each student should individually register via the USOSweb platform for the most preferred sports activities of his/her choice (one activity only!)
The offer of activities (sports hall, swimming pool, gym, outdoor activities) will be available at the www.swfis.uek.krakow.plwebsite, starting from 27 September 2022.
Before beginning the registration process, each student should check whether he/she has "PE" tokens, authorizing him/her to register for the activities. Information about the tokens can be found in the "Dla Studentów" ("For Students") menu >"Rejestracje żetonowe" ("Token registrations") > "Moje żetony" ("My tokens") tab. Instructions for token registrations are available here.
There are limits toplaces available in each group.
Before enrolling in PE classes, please check carefully whether the dates of the selected sports activities do not conflict with the Student's overall schedule and timetable.
Please carefully choose only one form (one type) of sports activities !!!
Registration for classes in the USOS system begins on September 28 at 08:00 and it ends on October 2 at 23:59.
By enrolling in the particular group in the USOS system, each Student also choses a leading teacher who will enter the final grade for PE course. Each student who has chosen classes in a sports hall, swimming pool, or gym, or in the AZS UEK (University Sports Association) sections, is obliged to systematically participate, once a week, inthe selected form of sports activities. Students who have chosen hiking or biking must complete five classes on the dates provided before the beginning of the classes.

Registration for language classes for students of full-time first-cycle studies – ADDITIONAL DEADLINE
Please be reminded that all first-year students are required to register for language classes.
We set an additional period on which this can be done:
from 01.09. (12 a.m.) till 04.09. (11:59 p.m.).
Registration for language classes is conducted in the USOSweb system.
Information on token registration is available on the USOSweb website (Tab: News-> instructions).
In order to register correctly, each student is expected to familiarise with:

Failure to register, or registration in the wrong group may result in failure to complete the language class and, consequently, the whole semester.

Registration for language courses for students of full-time first-cycle studies conducted in English
We would like to inform you that from 1th of August, you must register in the USOS system to choose your languages for the first and second semester.
1st round 1.08 - 14.08
2nd round (for students who has not been recruited before) - will take place in the middle of September
Registrations for both rounds start at 12:00 p.m. and end at 23:59 p.m.
Please note that in order to register, you need to send all the required documents to the recruitment office and get access to the USOS system.
Registration for language courses during 2nd round will be limited – students will only be able to register for groups, in which with free places after the first round.
To register for language courses correctly, each student have to read:

Full-time first-cycle programme:

Registration for Physical Education (PE) classes in the summer semester of the academic year 2021/22
In the summer semester 2021/2022 all PE classes will be held in a stationary form.
Each student needs to individually register via the USOSweb platform for preferred sports activities.
Before starting the registration, each student should check whether he or she is provided with "PE" tokens authorising to sign up for classes. Information about the tokens can be found in the "Student's section" -> "Token registrations" -> "My tokens".
There are limits in each sports group.
Registration for classes begins on 23 February from 8.00 a.m. and ends on 28 February until 11.59 p.m.
Every student, by enrolling in the group in the USOSweb, also chose a teacher who will enter the final PE grade. Students are obliged to systematically participate once a week for a selected PE class. Those who chose hiking, biking or Nordic walking trips have five classes to complete on the dates given before the beginning of the classes. Students who chose the ski and snowboard camp pass PE in classes conducted on the ski slope.
Please register only for one of the PE classes available.
Registration for AZS sports sections
Registration for AZS sports sections training in the summer semester 2021/2022 begins on 23 February from 8.00 a.m. and ends on 28 February at 11.59 p.m.
The sports sections are credited (you don't need to register additionally for PE classes if you participate in a AZS sports section).
Students who attended the section in the previous semester are invited to continue training and re-register for the current semester.

Information for students on Physical Education classes and forms of crediting this course in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/22
In accordance with the Rector's Ordinance no. R.0211.58.2021 of September 17, 2021 concerning the organisation of education in the academic year 2021/2022, in the winter semester, Physical Education classes will be held in a so-called hybrid form and have been divided into two modules:
Module I. Onsite classes in the form of three walking tours with a total of 18 teaching hours (6 teaching hours each), starting from October 4 and lasting until November 28.
Module II. Physical Education remote classes on the Moodle Platform in the amount of 12 teaching hours starting on November 29 and ending on January 30.
Classes from module I will be conducted on the dates specified in the schedule. Students do not have to register individually for PE classes.
Students resitting Physical Education classes or making up a programme difference are asked to contact the SWFiS Office from 8.00 to 14.00 from Monday to Friday remotely (swfis@uek.krakow.pl, phone: 12 293 5435) or in person.
Students are expected to actively participate and complete each of the two modules of the course.
Students applying for an exemption from Physical Education are required to:
- submit an application addressed to the Director of the Institute (application template is available on the SWFiS website)
- deliver the course records confirmed personally by the student in the Dean's Office.
The complete application should be submitted in person at the SWFiS Office or by mail (swfis@uek.krakow.pl) by October 18, 2021.
Students with long-term sick leave for one or two semesters exempt from participation in full-time classes are required to present an appropriate certificate to the teacher. The teacher will inform the student about the method of completing the course.
Students who sign up for the CUE sport association (AZS) receive credit based on attendance at training sessions or participation in competitions. Training dates are available on the AZS website. Such a student is exempt from participation in the PE classes in modules I and II.
